FAKE TAXI is a docu-fiction performance and film that unfolds during a taxi ride, revealing the encounters that take place between a real taxi driver, a passenger and a spectator. Investigating the public and private entries of a ride, and the blurring boundaries between drivers and a passengers. 
The performance now includes a live stream that passengers can join from their own phones.  They can record directly into the live stream as part of the work. This project has been shown at BUDA Kortrijk (BE), Whats Happening Here Gallery Amsterdam (NL), MOMO Festival Rotterdam (NL) and Space - O Gallery Dusseldorf (DE). It has been supported by the Mondriaan fonds, Amarte fonds and Amsterdam Fonds voor de kunst. Made in collaboration with Rosa Gooij.
